Midwinter break = Staycation

As part of our midwinter break from school we like to go have lunch with Dad and visit the Microsoft campus. We brought along a few friends this time, and the kids had so much fun. The older boys had Chinese for lunch, Faith and Lucy had noodles, and I had coconut shrimp, Jeff had a burger. All you can drink pop, juice and chocolate milk make this annual tradition one of the kids favorites!

Valentine's 2013

Valentine's Day

Card Faith made at school, we all had a good laugh, Faith included her cousin Cameron, but we see the teacher clearly misunderstood her had wrote Karen. Now we call him Karen and he doesn't think its very funny :)

I make a Valentine's Dinner every year for the family, which includes homemade heart shaped pizzas. This year I also tried to make heart shaped rolls.

See Faith at the end of the table. She is wearing her favorite hat. It's a 1200 thread count pillow case that she acquired off our bed. She loves this case so much it now has a rip in it, so now she can wear it as a hat too.

Happy Lunar Year! (Chinese New Year!)

We like to celebrate BIG for Chinese New Year, and this year was no exception. We held a party for over 100 people and had dinner and entertainment! So fun! We are blessed to have some of our best friends work on the party with us . They have also adopted from China, and our sweet girls are from the same province. Spicy Hunan Girls~
